How your order gets made
Representative images explaining the stages a garment passes through, from yarn and fabric preparation to stitching, quality checks and export packing.
Which knit is right for your order?
Three structures cover most of what we make. The difference between them is not quality — it is behaviour, and picking the wrong one is how a garment ends up technically correct and wrong for the job.
| Single jersey | Interlock | Rib | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | A single knit with one flat face and one looped back — the standard t-shirt structure. | A double knit — two layers locked together, so both faces are smooth. | A double knit with vertical ribs, knitted to size rather than cut from panel fabric. |
| Hand-feel | Light and fluid. Drapes rather than holds a shape. | Heavier and denser than jersey, smoother on both sides. | Stretchy across the width, with real recovery. |
| Shape retention | A raw edge curls, so finishing and construction do the work. Compacting before cutting is what keeps it from shrinking. | More stable. Lies flat at the edges and holds its shape better under repeated laundering. | The best recovery of the three, which is exactly why it goes where a garment gets pulled. |
| Typical weight | 150–220 GSM for tees; 220–260 GSM for oversized and drop-shoulder blocks | 180–240 GSM in our polo range | Not used as a body fabric, so no weight range applies |
| Where we use it | Round neck tees, streetwear blocks, women's styles | Polos and anything that needs a bit of structure | 1x1 neck ribs with shoulder-to-shoulder taping, and polo collars and cuffs |
Weight is a separate decision from structure, and the one buyers most often get backwards — what a GSM figure does and does not tell you covers it. Send a reference garment if you have one; we can pattern from it and match the structure without a conversation about terminology.

Verify the work behind your order
Representative images explain the process, but your own order is the proof that matters. Buyers may visit or appoint an inspection agency, and request current photographs of the relevant production stage.
